Although this is a supposed to be a diary of my efforts to plan, plant and nurture a small vineyard, I must first catch up nine months of activities detailing how I got to this point. Working from memory and some of my notes, I will soon be current with the history files and this can then serve as my contemporaneous diary of this folly.
